Mehr Enayati is an Iranian-American producer and composer whose music blends hip-hop, jazz, soul, and cinematic instrumentalism into a sound rooted in sampling, texture, and atmosphere.Born in Tehran and raised in California, Mehr began experimenting with music at an early age, eventually finding his way to the MPC 2000XL and the art of sampling. Years of digging, chopping, and collaborating helped shape a production style built around obscure samples, layered instrumentation, and the imperfections that give a record character.His 2017 debut instrumental project, Just As I Am, introduced that sound, while his 2020 breakout single “Painting Tomorrow” went on to surpass 300,000 streams and earn placements across prominent instrumental and chill playlists. Collaborations with Bay Area artist Yung Rizzo expanded his reach internationally, with “Still Here” charting on the Philippines Viral 50 and “Run It” reaching the Top Songs chart in Luxembourg.Since then, Mehr's catalog has continued to move between instrumental releases and artist collaborations, drawing from jazz, soul, hip-hop, and whatever else happens to spark an idea.At the center of it all is discovery.
